INTERIOR & PRODUCT DESIGN INTERNSHIPS 2019
Søren Rose Studio
Københavnsområdet
An internship is like a great first date. Both of us do our best to impress, get a feel for the chemistry, keep the conversation interesting and make sure no one gets bored. Not to brag, but we know we’re a great date, because we have an excellent track record of interns who continue to work for the studio after their internship ends, both as full time and freelancer staff.
As an intern you will join our team in Copenhagen or New York for a 5-6 month period. You will be assigned to relevant design products and work independently with these under guidance of our senior staff, taking all the necessary steps to create a commercially viable product or interior architectural project. You will be communicating with manufactures and partners and learning how to pitch a design idea to a potential client. And most importantly, you’ll see firsthand how a small design studio is run.
For our New York intern program we plan several day excursions during the term to favorites including E.G. Philip Johnson’s Glass House, the Judd Foundation, Dia:Beacon and Beaver Brook cabin community. All are places we love to visit and serves as an excellent opportunity to get inspired outside of the studio and experience New York.
The internship at Soren Rose Studio is unpaid. However, we do reimburse flight tickets, VISA application, embassy fees, daily lunch and excursions during the stay. All other expenses will be carried out by the intern.
