Google Analytics Specialist






This newly created position gives you the opportunity to join our fun and dynamic E-Commerce team where you will be able to make an impact by solving complex digital problems and identifying areas of opportunity for site optimization, increased conversions, and revenue. You are a blended data analyst and pragmatic digital thinker with strong hands on knowledge of Google Analytics setup experience for web and apps. It is crucial that you are able to understand trends, site behavior, traffic acquisition and leverage those insights for optimization strategies. You will own the analytics data and the strategy for leveraging that data to optimize the E-Commerce site together with the rest of the team for better conversion, which includes better design, functionality, content, or other items that you identify that will drive an increase in customer engagement and revenue.


- Audit existing Google Analytics and web analytics implementations and identify areas of improvement
- Manage QA, test and troubleshoot web analytics implementation and identify tracking strategy
- Handle Google Tag Manager container audits
- Carry on configuration of reporting views and their filters
- Set up goals, events, dimensions, metrics and enhanced e-commerce tracking
- Identify, design, implement, measure and analyze/report the performance of data-driven digital strategy
- Create custom reports, ad-hoc analysis and dashboards within Google Data Studio and Google Analytics
- Integrate Google Data Studio with big query, Google Analytics and internal system data and create reports and dashboards
- Setup up alerting system for main KPI’s
- Assist E-commerce in getting the “story” from the raw data
- Work on web and back-end analytics analysis, visualization, and reporting; implement tags within tag management platforms, and configure analytics platforms
- Uncover optimization opportunities within site experiences and marketing efforts to increase sales and achieve brand goals
- Teach the e-commerce team about data, analysis, and research in order for them to strengthen their knowledge of Google Analytics
- Identify purchasing pain points and resolution
- Handle customer profiling and buying motivations
- Define KPI's, supporting metrics, and measurement strategies
- Create an omnichannel, data-driven strategy and road-mapping
- Manage A/B experiments reporting and setup


- 3-5 years of experience working with Google Analytics, working knowledge of major analytics platform and a solid background in e-commerce user experience and journeys
- Proven and advanced experience with Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Google Optimize and Google Tag Manager implementations with focus on Enhanced E-commerce setup
- Google Analytics certification
- Hands on experience with debugging analytics tools and advanced analytics setup
- High understanding of online marketing and e-commerce KPI’s including PPC, SEO, display, social, etc.
- Able to translate qualitative & quantitative data into actionable and executable site optimization strategies
- Experience with reporting, analyzing, and visualizing quantitative data from variety of sources to validate optimization strategies.
- Adept in working with UX design teams to translate optimization strategies into appropriate user experience
- Experience in configuration of analytics and tag management platforms, as well as the ability to tag site pages to gain actionable data
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, high attention to detail, and extremely strong communication skills
- Fluent in English since this is our corporate language (only applications in English will be considered)
