Project Manager

The Index Project

We're looking for an experienced executor to make things happen!
The Index Project has a number of exciting activities lined up for 2021, among other international education workshops, The Index Award and an international conference for sustainability-minded businesses to take place along with COP26. And as always we’re aiming to deliver nothing but high-quality impact and inspiration! To help us achieve this we’re looking for a Project Manager to join our team.

The job will include (but not be limited to) the following tasks:

Planning and executing the business sustainability conference;
Assist with educational activities for external clients such as workshop planning and execution, and development of current and future formats and platforms;
Do desk research, such as benchmarking, and light qualitative research such as surveys and short interviews targeting our users and stakeholders;
Carry out a variety of administrative and practical tasks tied to the above activities;
Help out with the execution and celebration of the Index Award 2021 along with the rest of the team!
Ideally, you:

Have a bachelor or master’s degree (or an equivalent level of education) in design; humanities; social science; business or a similar field;
Have worked 5-7 years on planning, leading and executing projects in another non-profit, public institution, private company, bureau or studio;
Are a skilled project manager with both an eye for detail and great overview;
Have experience, and feel comfortable with, workshop facilitation with external clients (experience with facilitating design processes is a plus!);
Have experience with desk research and qualitative research and know-how to successfully design and monitor surveys; do short interviews; gather inputs and feedback, and communicate conclusions to the team;
Are fluent in written and oral English (Danish is a plus!).
You might also be described as:

Independent and not afraid of leading on tasks from day one;
Structured and able to remain cool when things get busy;
A generalist at heart who thrives in a job with wide-spanning tasks;
Seeing no task as too small - you acknowledge that great achievements are founded on solid footwork;
Open-minded, humble and appreciate the dynamics that a small, innovative and multicultural workplace can offer you.
Important notes:
Full-time for a fixed term (10-12 months) starting March 29th 2021;

Send your application and CV to our Head of Operations Lise Damsager Hansen by March 11th 2021.
