The User Research & Design team in DHI is focused to design and improve software solutions that DHI offers to their customers. We help the company by focusing on design consistency and user-centricity to complement the engineering focus of the company. We hope that you will support us on this journey.

The workplace will be the DHI headquarter in Hørsholm, Greater Copenhagen which is a new office that has been designed to empower cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities and challenges
As part of this team, you will be responsible for creating, evolving, and maintaining our Design System which we have built in Figma. In your role you will partner and collaborate closely with UX designers, user researchers, frontend developers.

Responsibilities:
-Define and document new elements and patterns for our design system (in Figma)
-Help UX Designers to build high-fidelity UI prototypes for projects
-Be the guardian of design consistency in projects
-Work closely with frontend developers and help them build new shared frontend components

Qualifications and personal skills
-UI design of software applications that aim to solve complex tasks sounds to you as an exciting challenge
-You have experience / interest in designing data visualizations and web map applications
-You are a strong systems thinker with hands-on experience contributing to design systems libraries
-You know that a design system is the way we work together (not just documentation) You work across borders and contribute to breaking down silos between disciplines
-You have experience and good skills in Figma
-You are comfortable working with front end developers for web user interfaces, including participating in code reviews
-Your verbal and written English is at a professional level

Office location
Hørsholm, Denmark located north from Copenhagen. Good transportation options with trains and buses. We want to operate full flex which means you can make arrangements with your manager to work from home to the extent that it suits the needs of you and the business.
